The 2026 Southern California Swimming (SCS) All-Star Festival wrapped up today, January 25, 2026, at the Marguerite Aquatics Center in Mission Viejo, California, capping off an exciting two-day showcase of the region's top 14-and-under talent.

Swimmers competed in four fierce teams, Los Angeles-BlueParis-BlackRio-Green, and Tokyo-Red with Team Paris-Black (sporting black swim caps) taking home 1st place overall, thanks to outstanding individual and relay performances that racked up crucial team points.

Ashley Toal proudly represented Team Paris-Black and delivered strong swims across her events:

  • 100 Freestyle: 14th place, 57.43
  • 200 Freestyle: 6th place, 1:58.94 - a highlight in a stacked field
  • 50 Backstroke: 8th place, 29.76 - PB securing a qualifying cut for the 2026 Spring Age Group Championships!
  • 200 Medley Relay (Anchor) competed solidly, adding to her team's scoring efforts with a time of 25.04
She also stepped up as the leadoff swimmer for the 200 Freestyle relay today, posting a fast split of 25.84 to help launch her team toward victory. What makes Ashley's achievement even more impressive? She balanced this elite competition with high school life attending her Winter Formal dance just last night (January 24)! Going from formal dresses and dancing to black caps and fast turns in under 24 hours shows incredible dedication and time management.
Congratulations to Ashley on an amazing weekend shining at the All-Star Festival, helping  Team Paris-Black  win it all, and still making time for those special high school moments! The future is bright for this talented swimmer. 🏊‍♀️💙✨
